Default Transmission Fluid Thermostat

I'm going to start working on my trans cooler installation soon to prepare for my TC install. Do any of you guys use a thermostat with your cooler installation to help with getting the temperatures up sooner, or maintaining a temperature for that matter? I've found some thermostats from B&M, Perma-Cool, Earls and Mocal that are designed for engine oil, and should be OK for transmission oil. My concern is that with my 26,000 cooler, it will take a long time for the transmission to come up to temperature without a thermostat.

That is a good idea. It would be helpful for the guys bypassing the stock cooler.

I use the Earl's block-style in my oil cooling circuit and it works well. Starts opening at 160, fully open at 180. On cool days, under 10 mile drives the oil cooler is still cool - no flow from the Earl's, which gets pretty warm. 12 miles and the thermo opens and warms the cooler. Pretty consistent.
