Default After-market shifter recommendations??

Hey guys. I am in the market for a quality rachet shifter for my automatic. I have one of those AOD conversions (manual valve body) which I dont think will pose a problem but I was curious what everyone recommends. The car has way plenty of power and sees the strip from time to time but I also need it to be street friendly. Looking for something that's relatively comfortable but will be precise when gear selecting. Also dont want to carve up the console too badly. I know... there will be concessions along the way, but any recommendations and pics would be appreciated! Curious what everyone is using. Thanks.

I use a B&M Universal shifter on mine, with a B&M **** with a button on top for the spray. Bought the **** from Jeg's. Factory 6 speed console, no modifications done to the plastic, only the steel under it to mount the shifter (which you can't see )

There is a guy on here (12secSS) that works for B&M and he said that B&M is working on a shifter for the Fbody. I havent seen it yet but I am eargerly awaiting it, maybe he will chime in and give us all an update!

Heres some of my Cheetah, it's not a ratchet though but is awesome for drag racing. I'm liking it alot!

Not bad.. I'm kinda liking the pistol grip for some reason. No experience with them though? Anyone for the pistol grips?

Plenty of people have the quarter stick here and like them, maybe they'll chime in. Plan on doing some fab work with either. I have plenty of fab put into mine to make it look as good and clean as it does plus I like the gate type shift over the ratchet type. Everyone will have their preference.
