As you can see, any size converter can be street friendly. It's mostly what YOU feel is acceptable to drive every day with your driving tendencies. You'll lose more city-driving fuel economy the bigger you go with stall speed. If you do most of your driving locked up on the freeway, that may not be a big deal to you. What are the specs of the cam you're getting? That's going to be the biggest factor in selecting your stall speed.

so i have some questions. i want to do a stall after i do headers this weekend. what does it mean when someone says "lock-up" and when some asks if its loose or tight? Also, do u need to change ur shift points when doing a stall? What if ur gonna run a stock cam and gears, is it better to get a smaller stall?
