Default 4l60e shift problems

Put a LS1 with a 4l60e trans in a custom 1930 chevy with a custom wiring harness Now I can't get the trans to shift feels like it takes off in 3rd or 4th gear. ECM shows no codes. New wiring harness does not use the wiring plug that is right at the shifter location on trans. I was told it did not need this one. So my question is what all has to be hooked up on the trans to get it to shift?

This is the connector that has to be pluged in.

It sounds like you don't have power to the trans and this is why you have 3rd gears starts.

I will check that out saturday morning. Is it a single hot wire or how many wires does it need and is it 12 volts or a lower voltage? I think my custom harness may have some problems thats the only thing so for that I have not been able to checkout.

Thanks
