Question regular TH350 vs. lock-up TH350, lots of ?s

After another season of having a 4l60e that doesnt shift when i want it to, i've decided to switch over to a RMVB TH350 with a transbrake. I still havent decided whether or not I want to add a lock up option so I have some questions.

I'm looking at somewhere around a 5000 stall, with my 3.73's and 28" tires I'll be turning 2911 rpms at 65mph if i had lock up. how many more rpms would I see if it was non lock up?

How much weight does the lock up option add to the trans? and how much weight does the lockup clutch add over a standard 350 verter?

does a lock up TH350 eat more horsepower than a standard?

Is the lock up th350 as strong as a standard?

Is converter efficiency at WOT the same? say you have 2 converters, both are the same brand, stall speed, and str, one is a lock up and the other is regular, at WOT will the lock up converter unlocked have the same efficiency as the standard TH350 verter?

finally, what converter companies offer lock up th350 converters? and what trans companies offer the lock up option?

I appreciate all replys to any or all of these questions

thanks,

I do not know of a transbrake that will work with a 350c lockup trans

but the converter will have the extra weight of clutch (3 to 8 lbs )

the input shaft is weaker than a standard 350 and no aftermarket lock-up models are out there

the case is not the same so you must start with a lock up 350 as I know it cannot be added to a std 350 case

the converter internals would be the same to design and the transmission has no effect on the fuction of the unit if the build data is the same

We make lock up 350 converters and the only fit the 350-c transmission
