The tranny lines have these little "e clips" on them you need to remove in order to get the lines out, FYI they can be a huge PITA!! I used this little pick tool my friend had and it worked pretty well, or you can use some needle nose and a small flat head screwdriver.

The top bolt you'll have to let the trans basically just hang on it's own and get atleast 24" worth of extensions and be patient and fish them up there to the bolt.

Good luck!!!!

I could never get the eclips out.. I just stuck a stuby cresent up there a slowy but surely un bolted them... One the top boly I used 36" worth or 1/2 drive extension.. 3/8 would bind too much in my situation.

i did the same thing but it was a pain in my @$$. all the extensions were worn a little, so each time i turned it, it would bow a bit and id lose my grip on the bolt. i got smart this time and borrowed 2 3ft extentions from someone else.

My experience has taught me that the trick to removing the bolts is to use an impact wrench swivel socket.

The manual swivels are too loose since they have three sections, and it's a pain to get the trans to drop enough to not use a swivel, but the impact swivel with two sections is just about perfect.

Neet trick on the swivel if you only have the manual one , wrap the joint in a couple rounds of electrical tape, this stiffens it up and makes it act like the impact type.

There is a special kent-moore tool but the long pick works much better, use it all the time at work. Takes about 2 seconds as long as the arent corroded.
