Default TX AL MS LA: Where to get a TC install?

Hello:

I bought a PTC3700 on ebay. Who can I trust for the install and reprogram?

I emailed Thunder but they never replied.

Anyone?

Thanks....

Thunder never responded to any of my emails, but I called them and they said $450 for install and $250 for shift kit. $550 for a full dyno tune $650 if not NA.(seems kinda high)

I'm near Baton Rouge LA.

The trans shops around here don't seem too up to date on what is involved.

Have you tried to go to the list of sponsors.Top right of the screen. Type in your zip code and miles that you will travel. Then see who is near you. I believe the box you want to click on says"alphabetical sponsor list". Good luck, Vince

If you were closer by, I'd recommend you to a local transmission shop here, where the owner is a 4L60E genius. He offered to install mine for $180. I decided to save the cash and put it in myself, since the place where I worked at the time had lifts.

If you were closer by, I'd also offer to help you if you were willing to do it yourself, but Baton Rouge is a good half-day away.

Sorry I can't help.

I like Thunder and would trust them with my car, but $450 is on the higher end. $550 for a full dyno tune isn't bad but you don't need it for just a converter install.

I would call and talk to them.

Those prices do seem high but remember one thing you get what you pay for. VInce
