Default a4 -> m6 completed, few kinks to work out

I have read thouroughly through the sticky up top, and still don't understand how to complete this.

I'm throwing a few codes. I have the speed sensor hooked up on my trans and that's it. I have no reverse lockout...which I want. I have no reverse lights. I'm in need of help because my car is out of inspection and I have to get these codes fixed, and reverse lights. Thanks guys

CHris

the only way to accomplish reverse lockout is addinga pin to the pcm and running wires to the solenoid... most guys just pull the solenoid out of the side of the tranny and epoxy a freeze out plug in its place. as for reverse lights there are two wires that the sticky tells you are for the reverse lights... you have to extend them and run them to the sensor on the side of the tranny... you have to check trial n error on which way the wires are supposed to be in the sensor.

I never really understood the freeze plug. The guy who did my swap I believe pulled the solenoid out, and put a plug in, but I still don't have a reverse lockout, and could still hit reverse while driving. Is that normal still, or should I look into this

The reverse lights is simple wiring, I do know that. I don't remember off the top of my head what needs to be done though. I did and A4/M6 swap back at the beginning of the year, but being as that my car was getting the suto I didn't pay attention to the exact wiring for the M6.

I forgot what we did for the reverse lights, it wasn't hard. For reverse lock out solenoid, we wired up a Hurst T-Handle with a button. Press the button and it slides right into reverse.
