Default P0757 code

My car quit shifting under WOT and ses light came on. went by autozone and this is the code that come up. I have had my converter in for almost 2 years now and 30K. Checked the fluid and it still is clean and smells good. I have read that it is possible that it is just the computer. How can i fix this. Also am i hurting anything by driving it the way it is?

are you sure that code is correct because alldata says what i have copied below
* This code is not a valid code for this vehicle.
* Or information published by the OEM does not include this code.
* Or ALLDATA has not added the information for this code yet.

Yes im pretty sure it is correct. It says

The PCM has determined that the voltage signal from shift solenoid "B" indicates a stuck ON condition.

Well alldata didnt show it for some reason but i found this somewhere else if it helps looks like a shift solinoid B problem .

All 1999-2004 GM RWD cars and light trucks(including 2003-04 Hummer H2's) with the 4L60E or 4L65E automatic are susceptible to transmission slippage, erratic shifting and/or a loss of 3rd or 4th gear.In addition, the MIL may be illuminated with DTC PO757 stored in computer memory.According to GM, all these problems could be the result of metal chips or debris plugging the bleed orfice of the 2-3 shift solenoid. The code could also set if the 2-3 shift or shuttle valves get stuck in their bores because of the junk. Getting rid of the debris is crucial to a successful resolution.
Start by inspecting the2-3 shift valve, the 2-3 shuttle valve and their respective bores. If need be, clean the valves and bores with suitable cleaner, then blow-dry everything with compressed air and reinstall the valves. Now move on to the 2-3 shift solenoid. Remove the solenoid and clean it up with solvent.if the opening has a screen to prevent clogging, reinstall the solenoid. If it doesn't, replace the solenoid with an updated, screened verison.(part no. 10478131.)

It varies wildly , would just print off the above and go by a shop and ask them what they will charge and shop a couple shops

Default PO 757 Code

If you do a search on PO757 you will read alot of good info about this code. Most of the time it's set by high stall converters and has to be programmed out of the pcm. Not saying that it can't be a faulty B solenoid, but usually it's a programming issue. Try clearing the code and see if it resets first before you start replacing parts.

Thats my problem i dont have a way to take the code out. I have read alot of the old post. I might just wait till im back home and get one of my buddies with an edit program to look at it first. I just think its weird on mine that it would wait 2 years to pop up. Most people that said it was a tune issue had it pop up when they first put the converter in.

Thats why I tend to be leave its a real poblem solinoid , valve etc because of the time involved ,rather than a tuning issue
