Default Whos 4l60??

My tranny is dead i have been looking alot at diffrent people and was wondering who you guys picked and why. And have you had good experiance with the sale and customer service after. I have a 383 with a 3500 stall and im tired of getting them done localy and just blowing up.

Give Vince a shout at FLT....I've talked to him a couple times and he's had some great ideas for me to try with my tranny before forking out for a new one. That's customer service....not trying to sell a product, just concerned about getting me fixed up. Although it's going to come down to a new tranny because nothing else is working. Tried and proven trannies and genuine service.

+1
I run a FLT 4L65e.
I'm probably making 600+hp at the crank (497rwhp 4x4) and it's been doing well for a while now. Customer service is top notch.

I dont have a performabuilt trans so i cant speak for you guys but you must have a good trans because you have lots of good comments. On the other hand, i do have a CPT trans and am very happy with that. I daily drive my car and drive it to the track, cut 1.47 60's all day long and then drive it home. They warranty their work and stand behind it. Great customer service as well. So i voted Cahall Performance.

I personally would have to go with either RPM or FLT. Both of these companies are in no way new to the forums. Also have been tried and true for years. Vince

Gearstar has a full inventory of complete transmissions in stock, and can ship same day to you on all models and styles
and will dyno test with your converter choice too!
They will also send a pick up shipment, so you can have your original trans rebuilt if you want to keep you cars original transmission at no extra cost.
Great people to deal with.

i'd go performabuilt or FLT. we know they're both good products and they're both on the forums all the time with an excellent reputation for customer support and service.

out of the two, i'd probably go with the one maybe closer to your home.

I would go with FLT any time. Give Chuck@FLT a call. He is a great guy and their customer service is great too. I'm very happy with my flt stage 5 tranny.
