Default Need some help.

My stock tranny burned up so i bought a used century trans from a member on here and I noticed that on the input shaft there is a hole in the middle the stock one has something in it and the century has nothing should I swap the piece into the new trans or not and what is it. I am also using a 3000 stall converter if that makes any difference. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Dont worry about the ecapusulated checkball it does not need to be there , so the empty hole is fine , dont swap it over its better without it
