FLT Level 5 up and running
Well, first off I would like to thank Chuck and Vince at FLT for some of the best service I ever had in the aftermarket parts Biz.
I wish I took pictures of that Level 5. It is a jewel.
I initialy had a Level 4 built by Chuck 2 years ago, and through 2.5 seasons of nitrous racing, that one had performed flawlessly.
As all parts eventualy wear out, the 2>3 gear was starting to slip under juice (not in NA mode) and I decided it was time for a refresh or another tranny.
I was given good deals by Rock-on but started reading some ugglies on this forum and decided to scrap them.
Couldn't get a hold of Rossler for sh*t, Performabuilt was very friendly, but i didn't see to much feedback on them yet. So I was back to FLT.
My glitch was to send the tranny back to them as shipping is so costly from so far away. But I was confident they delivered what was promised, so that is what I did.
Sure enough Chuck got the tranny, right before Thangsgiving and I had inquired if he could get it done within two week.
He was gonna tear it down and quote me on the upgrade difference.
THE MAN DELIVERED just that!!!
2 days after Thanksgiving the tranny was ready to ship back and I got it within another 5 days.
It is now on the car, with a New Spohn Trq arm and a new custom ORY.
All i can say is WOOOOW, even better than the first one. Ammazing shifts.
I'm ready for war on this Thursday (weather permitting, last week rained out).
I'll post new timeslips by Saturday (my finger is on the button...push that button)
Just a Million thanks to Chuck and his team, big thumbs up and he knows why
