How many miles on your converter
I thought it would be intresting to see how many miles everyone has on there converter so far. If you had any fail could you please post the mileage that it failed at. And if you want you can post track times with the converter you have now and or the previous one. Can everyone that posts please give brand name and mileage. Well I guess ill start off. Yank SS4000 4.5k miles and still going strong best run 10.78 1.46 60ft spinnin alittle. Best motor run 11.7 with a 1.6ft spinning. Had a Tci before this and the lockup clutch busted within the 1st 10k miles. So I switched to Yank and hopefully this lockup clutch and converter lasts awhile.

I have about 3k on my TCI, no problems so far. I had a VIG3800 before with about 10k, no problems really, but it was waaay too loose. I ran a best of 11.52@118 with the VIG and 11.29@120 with the TCI.

TC mileage
I've got a vigilante that was a 2800 and just had it loosened to 4000. The staff at Precision Industries said it was still in great shape and it had about 30,000 on it with lots of 1/4 mile passes and a best of 12.2. Haven't run it yet since the upgrade, but I'm expecting some good numbers since I also added new tranny, prostar 15x10s and quick time pros!

I had about 15k on my TCI SSF 3500 before the lockup clutch went.. Had it re-built and 4000 miles later it blew the tranny.. NOw I have a fresh tranny and a Yank SS 4000 and I am having issues locking up, but have not determined if it is the tranny/PCM or TC casusing it.

I probably have one of the highest mileages out there. I had a Y3000 converter put in back when I only had 34K miles on the car. Now I have roughly 145K miles without absolutely no problems with either the stock tranny or stall. That equates to about 111K miles! I will say that I had a tranny cooler installed at the same time the stall went in and the car has never been to the track only minor street action. All together I like the stall just wished I would have gotten the 3600 version and 3.73 gears.
Proper tranny fluids and filter changes at the right intervals goes a long way.

I have the Yank Stealth 3200 stall. It was installed at 39k. Now have a bit over 92k on the car and about 200 runs or more! Best times in sig. I totally love this converter! I had 3.73's and have recently gone to 3.42's. Have yet to make any runs at the track. So not sure how it will react. I believe in Yank. I am sold on their verters. Just my .02 worth!
