I have a 2008 transmission from a 2008 Chevy Silverado 1500. It has the following wire harness, and some say it is a 4l70e (and not a 4l60e) based upon the color of the plug.
I have it apart and it has 4 pinion planets in it - so I do not think it is a 4l70e... It also has the speed sensor in the pump - but I am not sure if that matters...
Other than the color of the transmission plug - what are other indicators for a 4l70e?
