Default Tranny and oil coolers tech

Been wonderin', which cooler design is best. Talked with Tech at Fluidyne. I have their rad. He stated that for tranny coolers a plate and fin is best and for oil a braised aluminum oval tube and fin. Any comments, I'm upgrading my tranny and oil coolers.
