I have a chance to buy a fuddle for a good price. would you do it? I heard a few bad stories and a few good. How long do you think my stock tranny would last with a 3500?

Fuddle is back where they were before. I'll buy the argument that John had health-related issues, and I believe he tried to right as many wrongs as he could.

I will be purchasing mine from him when I'm ready to get one.

I dunno i can get it for a good deal BUT everyone seems to loose mph in the 1/4 and everyone said that his customer service is good and paid to have the stuff fix right and paid for the labor if the converer came apart. My car is a daily driver and i cant afford to have my car down more then once for a converter instal. I dunno tho i am still debating.

stock transmission? not very long with out an aftermarket cooler. Also if you do buy it make sure you have the converter cleaned out.

well here is the deal. It is a 4000 right now. I would send it back to fuddle and have it restalled to like a 3400 or 3600. so it would be brand new. IF i do get it i would put a shift kit and a big cooler on it. but i am worried about all the bad stories i have heard.

i had my fuddle for over a year and a half with no problems other then its wastes so much gas cause im always flooring it,much more fun to drive now. I daily drive mine and its fine... A few words of advice if you get any converter larger than 3,400 be prepaird to have it tuned to work right and maybe a shift kit also for thoes mushy shifts.

if you don't mind losing like 2mpg then i def say go for it. I have a 3400 (2.1 str), untuned and without a shift kit and it still feels like a completely different car. highly highly reccomended..now i just need some tires

A friend of mine has a Fuddle 3400 with no issues. He gained like .4 and a couple mph I believe. I think loosing a couple mph isn't uncommon though.
