Default has anyone tried the TCI 4L60e rebuild kit?

im going to buy a TCI rebuid kit from JEGS for my 94 z28 in a few days, i was wondering if anyone has tried it yet? any input will be great thanks , steven

Well it has been my experience that what appears to be the cheapest way out many times isnt in the long run and ends up costing much more

yea i know, im short on cash, but i thknm i just need 3rd and 4th gear clutches replaced

do u think it would be ok to kreplace just the clutches?

you will need to replac all the seals and rings other wise your wasting your time ,And you will need special tools to do those things

Ive been running their "best" kit for over a year now. The guy that built my tranny said the clutchs were really thin but other than that it was a decent set up. Although it does seem to slip some in the higher rpm with my 3400-3800 TCI converter. The trans seemed to like the stocker and the 2400 converter that was in there alot better.
