I loved my TCI SSF 3500. The only reason I got ride of it was to step up to the 4l80.

2.7 IIRC. I have the same stall and daily drove it most of last year. It's not THAT loose. Once it locks up you're good.

I had a SSF3500 in my old car. I loved it and if I hadnt gotten bored with the auto then I was gonna step it up to a 4400.

I agree that once it locks up all is good. But for me (an old man) it is a bit loose but not too bad for a daily driver. I just do not like a loose converter for the street. At the track it rules!

TCI 3500 here. I really love this thing. It's been in the car for about a year now. No problems yet. The STR is 2.5, which makes it haul like a raped gorilla from the line. When my new engine is finished, I'll probably step up to a 4000 or 4400 stall with a built tranny from Performabuilt.

TCI SSF3500 and I love it. Only complaint is that I wish it was a 3800!

No lock up. Chatter real bad. Did some checking and found out that they have about a 15% return on the converters for our car. I hope it hadn't hurt my trans. It increased my acceleration, but driving around is a nightmare. I will replace it with something else or put back stock.
