Is my Fuddle 4k 2.4 str stall too loose for my Vortech V9 G-Trim Supercharger?

Question Is my Fuddle 4k 2.4 str stall too loose for my Vortech V9 G-Trim Supercharger?

as title states. Stall now flashes to 4200.... is this too big of a stall for the blower?? If so what size stall should i go with? 3600....3800??

ok currently im NOT boosted, but i will be, what i should have said was now that i will be runnign a blower what size stall should i change to.

That is odd. Normally a 4000 stall converter for an NA car would flash to 5000+ with boost.

no no no currently i have a 4k stall but im NOT on boost yet. what i was askin was what size stall should i go with now that im going to be boosted

I think the 4000 converter will be too much on the boost. But as long as you already have it in there I would try it first.

Alright that makes more sense, according to your first post it sounded like you already had the boost going.

I would call Yank, they will probably end up recommending something in the 3000-3400 range depending on the power level and application.

josh, the only way to really know is to get out there and hit it. i thought my fuddle was going to be too loose untill i took it to the track. its perfect. overall i would say you want a tighter stall if you are going to be making 10 psi or more. ideally you still want a converter that flashes at about 4000-4200 (or more if you are greedy like me). but you want it to flash at that point on the boost (load).

good luck and just go for it. if it pushes through the converter too much (datalog it) then just send it out to get tightened up.

hmm..... interesting. If I didnt know you John, and know that you are good with picking converters. I would say your full of ****. JFWY bud!
