Default Those of you using an aftermarket shifter and 6 speed console.

Did you have to drill a new hole for the cable to route through? I bought a complete setup swap from a guy and can't get ahold of him to figure out if I'm just mounting it wrong or if I need to drill a new hole.

yea a buddy of mine and I both put B+M pro ratchets in our cars with a 6spd center console and you have to drill a new hole to get the cable to work. atleast i know we did drill a new hole

If you dont drill a new hole for the cable and use the old hole the shifter will sit too far back so then it will not sit in the center for the 6 speed center console to work.
