my th400 one worked great. You have to be smarter then the dipstick to install it.

The dipstick I got from a board member fits like $%@T.... actually I would say it doesn't fit. Not only does it hit the back of the head, the mounting tab is 1/2" or more from the back of the trans to bolt it up.

GET A LOKAR!

Ditto, basically had to extend the mounting bracket. I would have went for the lokar dip stick, but it didn't have the locking mechanism in it (same as the stocker) like NHRA requires.

Mine fits fine otherwise, it's definately shorter than the stocker. It only comes out past the head a couple inches, you can't even see it in there unless your looking for it. You will definately need a funnel with a long snout on it.

****** LOL, I knew others were having issues with these piles. 69.00 bucks and I didn't even get a "sorry" when I told em it didn't fit right and provided this picture showing the tab way too far off from the tranny mounting point

They tried to tell me to bend it up and out of the way because it was hitting the valvecover......rrrrrriiiiigggghhhtttt Doesn't come close to hitting anything, mounting point included. Can't believe they told me to "BEND" a part that is suppose to fit like the stocker..69 bucks (80 shipping included) and I have to modify it to work

Get the lokar and be done with it... man I needed to listened to kp about this

Its supposed to mount to the back of the head like stock right? Not to a bellhousing bolt. I tried to put mine in today too, and didnt see it working correctly. I didnt dick with it that long but it doesnt look like its gonna work.

I mangled mine so much that it actually mounts (after adding a new mounting tab) to the back intake manifold bolt, and works much better than when I got it. Although, the tube does sit a little far back for my liking.

Ya i remember when i got mine it sucked *****. I took pics of it and i believe it was 6-7" from the cowl i even had the measuring tape showing how far it was back there. Also i've still got mine and it freaking sucks to add fluid oh and when i first installed my tranny i had to put in the first 8 qts of fluid to fill it now then i was severely pissed . But the good thing is it cant be seen so it takes away from the clutter.
