Default Tell me why my tranny keeps...

Tell me why my tranny keeps losing gears. During the past 18 months i either lose 2nd, 4th, or even 3rd. As I lose a gear, it gets fixed under warranty, then another gear goes out weeks later. All this on a tranny built for 750 hp. All comments are welcome.

No codes are being thrown. Shift solenoid, has been replaced, bands have been replaced, and the case itself. It only lasts months before it goes down. My cooler is a perma cool with 900 cfm fan.

It does very well after repairs. The question will always be for how long.

Its hard to say what kind of issue you have it could be electronic or mechanical , Or a combination of both. generally though when you have hard parts clutch band etc its just and issue with the build, Doe the trans have a shift kit and improperly installed kit can cause premature band and or 3-4 clutch failure repeatedly ,But something is going on and it sounds like your trans shop does not know how to solve it,
