Do you guys lock your verters when running the 1/4 midway?

Do you guys lock your verters when running the 1/4 midway? I was jsut wondering if you guys have you converter setup to where it will lock while running the 1/4 say at like the 1/8 miles or something like that. Or do you just let it stall the whole way?
