When I went from a 3600 Vig to a 4000 Yank. It would no longer hold the 2-3 shift. We played around with the shift points and it was no use. The trans would hit the rev limiter on the 2-3 shift every time. The trans had 144k miles on it when the Yank went in. It had a good run.

Mine is still going strong at 95k. I have had a Fuddle 3400 stall w/ a large B&M tranny cooler for about the last 20k. I recently added a 100 shot nitrous and made a few quick sprays with that. No problems yet. I have raced on the street a few times and made about 10 runs at the track (N/A).

I am really hoping the nitrous doesn't kill my tranny. I do have a window switch with it set not to spray through the shifts which should help.

I killed 2 60Es with a bolt on LT1. The stock one and a locally built one.
Got tired of yanking the trans out on my back (no lift) so I put a TH400 in it.

On the other hand I have another 94 Z28 sitting out front with 135k on it with shorty headers and exhaust and the stock tranny is doing all right.

56k after headers and gears.....started slipping like a champ so i put a cooler on it and it lasted to 60k....i rebuilt it before it completely stopped moving...but at that point if i went WOT throttle in any gear it went strait to the limiter and stopped moving.
