Slipping transmission?
Just recently I started having an issue..
My car drives fine, whenever I am just crusing around..
However lately, if I am carrying power around a curve or sometimes when I am accelerating from 55-60 up it will sometimes either shift up and then back down or vice versa like it is not sure which gear it needs to be in.. It's not really "slipping."
I just checked the fluid and it is indeed low.. Does this sound like that might be all the problem or is my tranmission hosed?

I think yu have answered your own question and yes a little low in a 4l60e is a big deal they really have very little capacity in the pan . If there was a way to do it the most ideal way to fill one would be to have the car running and fill it even with the pan rail , Get some fluild in there before you have a real problem .

Yeh.. Transmission is working like a champ, so far.. However - today, I'm driving my wife around and the #8 cylinder started misfiring..
I'm hoping it's something simple.. I have not had a chance to check it out, but I am going to tomorrow..
