4l60 from 94Z into 93Z 700r4 car?? What all would I have to do to put the trans from my 94 Z28 into my wifes 93 Z28? I have a perfectly strong 4l60e trans in my car that her car will never kill, so I would like to swap it with her 700r4 if possible. My car is going to recieve a level 3 performabuilt invincible trans, and hers will get a level 2 performabuilt if I can not make the swap. Thanks for any info, Nick.

im doing something along these lines right now. Theres a thread in LT1 section about putting a '95 engine into a '93. Im dropping a '94 drivetrain into a '93 tomorrow. I think I have all the wiring figured out but I have the engine harness from the donor setup. You need to swap the engine harness and move a few wires around to make it work. Depends how serious you are about it. Im dropping the whole drivetrain, but I dont know if Id do it just to put a tranny in. You will also need the PCM as stated already because the '93 has a burnable chip and in '94 and later the PCM is flashable.
