truck converter in my formula
the guy rebuilding my A4 (4L60E) said that i can put a torque converter out of a 4L60E truck tranny to give me a 2200 stall instead of the stock 1800. is this right?? i dont want to question his abilities or knowledge but this is the first i heard of it. will it cause any problems and will it still be streetable as a daily driver? thanks for the help and space??

one out of a trailblazer will supposedly stall around 2600-2800, but they're not as strong as a performance converter and probably won't hold up much if you start putting more hp to it. i would just spend the extra and get one designed for the car. i almost got a trailblazer converter to try it, but i figured if i'm gonna do it, i'm gonna do it right and got a good deal on a fuddle 3400.
