Default Drivetrain shakes hard after TC install

I'm having a little trouble since I installed a higher stall TC
the entire drivetrain shakes as if the tranny is fighting with the differential.

In my case, I removed a 3200 stall protorque (no problems, just wanted more stall)
and installed a Yank SS4000 on my 93 H/C Firehawk.
When the TC drops into lockup, the car shakes hard.
I've never felt a TC lock up so hard before.
This is especially uncomfortable on the street at 35-45mph.
Although, you can feel it (somewhat less) on the highway as well.

Yank suggested that I tune lockup to engage at a higher speed.
I've asked Ed Wright to look into that for me. (he did my tune)
I supposed option 2 is to set up a relay that would block the lockup signal
below a certain RPM.

The mechanic who installed the TC suggested that he's seen this on
Fords with bigger stalls and was able to cure it with an additive to the ATF.
(allowed it to slip more?)
That doesn't sound like the right way to go about fixing this.

Has anyone else run into this?

Default

Looks like raising part throttle lockup RPM is the key.
Ed suggested that I tap the brake to force the lockup to let go then
see what MPHI want it set at. I played with it a bit tonight.

Current is about 50MPH, which is much too low.
60-65 seems reasonable.
What is everyone else using on their setups?
