Default auto question

I have an 99ss bolt ons with a pro torque 3000 stall. I was doing a little testing with the car and from a 15mph roll the car moves great. From a 60mph roll car moves great but from a 40-45 roll if i nail the car it just doesnt seem to move to great. It feels sluggish. Sometimes the car will kick down hard and feel great in that mph range but most of the time it feels sluggish i guess is the best way to put it. Seems like its in over drive almost but its not it was in drive (tried it a couple times with od on also and felt the same). Any reason why this is and why sometimes around that mph range it feels strong?
Car only has a hypertech tuner so could it be tuning needed for the 3000 stall ?

Sounds like you are teetering around the dowshift point (3rd-2nd). The Hypertech will be able to adjust WOT upshifts and firmness.

your simply between gears so to speak. the sweet spots for a4's are around 30 and 60. between those it doesnt pull hard because your going to fast for it to command a lower gear

Depends on the gear...my car won't downshift to 1st above 28mph or so. If you try a 30mph roll against someone, you may as well just give up.
