Im in the process of doing the swap. I went to the junk yard and got a shifter and lever out of a v6 2001 camaro. the lever i have looks like it might just slide over the bolt that shifts the tranny. Not sure if its supose to do this or bolt on. Then do i need to just order up a bracket and retainer clip for a 02 HD to hold the lever to the tranny?
