Default Going from OD to Neutral

My buddy has a stock rebuilt 4l60e in a 2000 SS with a Trans Go shift kit. He likes to shift from OD to Neutral... a lot. haha

How bad is this for the tranny? She he not be doing it? The reasons behind this behavior? No idea... but i'd appreciate any info.

I don't think it hurts anything.

Maybe he wants to coast sometimes...and the converter wants to stay locked forcing engine-braking (like mine).
