bye bye 2nd gear

Default bye bye 2nd gear

went through one n2o bottle fine, started on the 2nd bottle tonight at the track and lost 2nd gear. What to do now??? I dont have the money to get this thing rebuilt. So do i look for a new USED one with less miles or what ??

The real question is can you aford to put several used units in of couse this might be ok if your going to give up the track and the NOS.

yeah i have drive and over drive, just no 2nd, it will go in once in about every 50 tries. It just feels like its in neutral when its supposed to be in 2nd.

lol i dont plan on giving up going to the track since i couldnt make a clean pass last night with the spray, so im still wondering what my car runs with it.

second and 4th are the band however it could still be badly glazed. Does it not do second at part throttle.


lol i dont plan on giving up going to the track since i couldnt make a clean pass last night with the spray, so im still wondering what my car runs with it.
In that case I would really consider getting a built unit I know the bigger chunk hurts but in the long run several smaller chunks and the fustration will hurt more.

thats kinds what i was thinking. I'll have to see what the good 'ol bank can do for me in the way of another loan. Im guessing you have these in stock and ready to be shipped out or what??

ship in 1-2 bussiness days of order , ussually 1 day. then a few days in transit to missouri and your there, If you ordered tomorow morning or tonight probably would have it first of week or sooner maybe depends on fedex.

sounds good to me. All the tranny shops around here want 2k to rebuild mine. So i'll have my secretary (mom) check with the bank tomorrow and i'll get back to you here in the next couple days
