Th400 bellhousing mounting

The bell housiing has 6 holes..the block 5..is it safe to put new hole in block right below bottom of heads?Just enuf to get bolt to hold for strength.

bolts

when gm put a v-8s in the monza they only used 5 bolts and l don't think it will be a problem in your case. good luck

Just use the five bolts that fit. It won't hurt a thing.
