Default What else to upgrade with new stall...

I'm having a Yank SS3600 stall installed, and was wondering what else should be upgraded internally for my 4L60E (if anything). I'm not looking to change the whole transmission, except for things like the servo, ect. My trans has 9,000 miles and I want it to stay strong. Any help is appreciated

I have the same question...I have the same set up, I'm just wondering if there is anything else I can do inside. I don't know much at all about transmissions, so I'm clueless as to where, why and how to buy a servo, shell, and clutches.

shift kit/cooler/ and tires.

basically it... you'll need a tune so the computer knows the stall speed has been changed.

A tune, for shift points and torque management and such. I don't think a shift kit would hurt, as long as you don't get to crazy with it.

yes, efi live changes the shifts electronicly, the shift kits change the shifts mechaniclly is the safer method of doing this.

a higher RPM stall converter "soaks up" some of the shift feel... a shift kit will fix that right up

-and if you are already tuned without a shift kit, chances are your tuner upped your line pressure to firm up the shifts, return them back to stock when installing a shift kit.... the kit includes a boost valve that manually ups the pressure... no need for PCM changes anymore...
