Default problems with TH400...

As you guys see from the title, I have a TH400 Tranny with a TransGo stage 2 shift kit
. It only does it at WOT say i'm normal driving(not that I do this regularly when d'ding the car)it will shift from 1-2-3 perfectly...my 1-2 shifts are fine...but when shifting from 2-3 it almost seems as if it completly misses third and my rev's will just climb....running off EFIlive software....my shiftlight is set at 6200 and the rev limiter is set at 6800...any input would be appreciated.

thanks,
david

Default slip

try running 12 volts through a switch to the male plug just rear of the shifter. the trans does not know you are at full throttle until it gets 12 volts at the passing gear switch. turn it on and punch it again with the trans in drive and see what happens. good luck

Detent solenoid is hooked up...upshifts fine...like I said its only at WOT....sooooo unfortuantly I am thinking the worst right now...but I hope it is the pump/less extreme scenario

The reason I asked if the detent soleniod was connected is that it's job is to exhaust governor oil . This causes downshifts !!!Dissconnect the wire and try it . In regard to your pump , it will not cause one gear to work good and not another . It sounds like you are going to find a problem with the direct clutch !!!!!!!

Direct clutch = High gear.
