Default LT1 OBD2 Converter Lockup Speed Stock and Modified

Wondering if anyone has any info to share on modifying these parameters?
I would like my car to lockup @ 38mph and unlock @ 32mph but I am unsure of what gear I would like that to occur in? I have read that I can have it lockup @ 38 in 4th gear only but not at all in 3rd. So if I put the shift on OD it will lockup when I hit 38 but if I put the shifter in D it wont lockup at all?

also, what is the stock lockup speed set to? could I set lockup by rpm?

Thanks for the help (btw 4l60e 3.23 gear)

I can tell you I have virtually no experience tuning LT's. But I have tuned countless LS Transmission combinations.

I would first ask why is it that you want L/U at such a low vehicle speed. If the car has any or many mods at all I recommend that 3rd gear L/U be deleted entirely. The car goes into such a "Cam Surge" that is very detrimental to the converter clutch itself.

In 4th I always start with a MPH somewhere around 55 mph and TPS around 13%.

Not what you wanted to hear but that is my opinon / experience.

Well, I would delete lockup in 3rd if it would still lockup in 4th. The reason for the speed is a lot of my commute the speed limit is 40mph in my cop magnet. So lockup would get me better fuel economy
