Default Installing new trans and tc in 1999 c5 balance question...

Hey, just as title states, I've got a stage IV RPM trans and a truck converter going into my vette soon. My helms manual says to mark how the old converter comes out so I can put it in exactly the same way and not have any vibration.... ..well I'm not putting the old one back in, so how does one assure no vibration? Or is that a trial and error thing?

thanks

The converter should be balanced from the manufacturer. I have not ran into that issue before. If you do experience an imbalance all you can do is remove the converter bolts and rotate it one direction or the other, then try it again.

I don't think you'll run into a problem though.

I will agree the converter should be zero balance and there should be no issue.
