Wellif you dont have a converter I would suggest changing the 1-2 (A) shift solenoid or if you have had a large stall for some time I would still suggest changing that solenoid as a first step , This code can however along with a PO757 which is the other shift solenoid code can be set afer a large stall installation because the PCM becomes confused.
I give you all this info because I do not know what mods you have done with your car trans wise. But again if you have made no converter change recently I would just change the solenoid and you will likley be good to go. Its easy enough to do and they are cheap.

Well I had the 4L60e rebuilt inside-out, put a 4400 stall in it, was fully dyno tuned. It's has been about 1000-1500 miles and the code popped up.
So just change the solenoid and I am good to go?
I appreciate the great info!

Well, my frined check the code for me as well, I don't know what data base he was using, but he got more than 1 problem off the same code.
According to his data base, the code meant not only the solendoid problem but also possible internal damage - seal breaking.
Well, all I do know is that when I get on it and then let off the gas, the trans makes a single knock, which I can definately hear and feel under the seat.
What could this be? Man I don't want to pay $10000000 to fix this **** now.
I just had this thing built 1k miles ago.
Help!

They are speaking of the solenoid seals, Just change the solenoid and see what happens first.
