Default Symptoms of a dying stall?

If my stall is going bad, how would I know? What would it be doing to the tranny and what would I feel? I'm trying to figure out if my stall is failing. Something seems fishy with my tranny. It's vibrating a lot but I can't figure out if that is because of the new Energy Suspension mount I put on. It's much stiffer than the stock and the tranny sits a little higher. Will that cause a whole lot of new vibrations? Or hurt the tranny at all?

I was also told the converter I have isn't all that great. I mean, it's been working great, but I was told that Yank should be my next investment. How much better will a Yank stall perform over a TCI? What will I notice differently? Or is it just built with more durable parts?
