Borg Warner waffle cut frictions, any thoughts on these? The place I usually get my parts from sent me these, I'm used to using smooth frictions. They seem to shift and hold ok in an 11 second 3300 pound car, but are they good for performance use?
It seems the waffle cuts take away a lot of material.

The green waffle clutches work great. I use them in a lot of hd builds for 350 and 400's. The idea behind the waffle clutch is that it allows the oil to escape quickly for a faster apply or reduced slippage. Don't be afaid they work great! Vince
