Default 6.0 to tranny??

hey guys i currently have a 94 chevy c1500 pickup with a 5.7L 350 and it has a 4L60E, well my 350 spun a rod bearing so now i am looking at buying a gen III 6.0L, well i know i am going to have alot of work to do on the wiring and stuff like that but i was just wondering if i could keep the same tranny or would i have to buy a new tranny, the tranny is a 4L60E, its a 94 so will it just bolt right up?

Default

It will both to the engine but you will need a special converter or adapter to bolt up the converter to the flexplate . Now if you plan to use the late electronis PCM etc for the enigine then the trans electronics also will not be compatable. Though there are ways around that.
