Question VIG converter compatibility

Hi,

I need a quick answer to the following question:
I am looking at a 4L60 Vigilante converter out of a 1994 Formula. I am not sure which engine is in there, I guess a LT1.
Will this converter fit into my 2000 A4 Corvette?

Thanks
Alex

It will not fit ! The input shaft and stator support spacing is different on the transmission side and the pilot is different on the engine side !!

I have to say that you can teach an old dog new tricks !! I found out since I answered your converter question that the Corvette converter was different than the F body in the later years , and the unit in question should work just fine in your application . Thanks for the heads up VINCE ,
John

So just to make it clear, you say it will fit? The owner told me the engine is indeed a LT-1. You're sure the engine side of the converter is the same?!
Here is a pic of it.

Thanks Alex
