Default 1800 to 2000rpm stall is stock?

well, i bought a torque converter and i asked for one with a stall of 1800 or 2000. the guy gave me one that he said came out of a trailblazer, he wasnt sure if it was 1800 or 2000 stall but assured me it was one of the 2. Well i was talking to my friend the other night and he tells me 1800rpm is the stock stall lol is this true?

stock stall is 1800rpm, a bump to 2000rpm isnt even worth it. might want to look into something else

i was just wondering because my engine is acting up a little bit, just wondering if 2000rpm might throw off the tuning

using the trail blaser converter in a ls1 makes a 25-2800 stall...its supposed to be a decent upgrade....
