Which type of tranny for Street/Strip car?

Which type of tranny for Street/Strip car? I am tossed on which type of auto tranny for my Formula project car. I like each one for their properties and they do cost around the same. I guess it separates from more street or more strip. I would also like to hear from other owners on their pros and cons on their tranny with what stall TC and their engine combo.
Powerglide - The ultimate race tranny built brutally strong and only one shift to worry about
TH400 - A lower first gear for harder launches and better 60-foot times.
4L80 - Same as the TH400 but with overdrive and lock-up TC. Good for the Hod Rod Power Tour.
