Hello, here's my problem, I am building an LS1 Mazda RX-7 for an all-out performance car daily driver with over 400 hp N/A and 600hp on N20. I have an 2002 engine from a camaro with no transmission, i want an automatic.

I have been looking at vendors and other people who sell built race ready transmissions, What do i need other than the transmission to make this work. I know i need a bellhousing but i am not sure what else?

Well you would need the bell a tail housing depending on where you got trans. And for some vendors a core return. You would need a cooler. I would assume your going to run the LS1 wiring harness so you can use its PCM as a controller. You would need some sort of aftermarket or modified stock shifter.

Dump the 4L60-E & get a better Trans. like the TH-400,it will save you alot of $$ later on.4L60's are a headache sorry

Thanks for the help i found a complete transmission on the classifieds for 600$ hopefully everything works out if not i will get something else, again thanks. oh and i need a cooler and a torque converter so i will be calling you guys at performabuilt.
