Aftermarket Hurst Shifter ????

Has anyone installed an aftermarket shifter in their 98-02 TA? I'm looking to install a Hurst V-Matic2 Shifter (can be switched into ratchet shift mode) without butchering my interior too much in mine and wanted some advice and/or pictures? HELP!

If you switch to the manual console, you can pull it off easy. Here's my console with a B&M Pro Ratchet shifter (sorry for the dark picture)

Does the V-matic 2 work with our 4L60e's? What's involved in mounting it?
