i check the fluid level and its good. the tranny shop said there was no metal flakes or shavings, and they said the fluid was dirty, but they said everything looked ok.
like i said before this was done the tranny was on the money and shifted great.

with high milage trannies its a gamble to have them flushed what happens is the valvebody gets worn out and with the old fluid and varnish in them it keeps the shift valves sealed and fills in the gap made by the wear but when you change the fluid and flush it out it takes all the varnish away and then you have leaking valves it happens alot after a flush at the dealer i worked at we wouldnt flush dirty fluid or black fluid we were not even allowed to recommend it unless it was due by manufacturer recomendations to cover our own asses lol

very good possibility....you may be able to change a valvebody at this point and it may help it but it is a gamble.

Depending on what Level unit we are talking about you are looking somewhere around $2000.00 for the transmission. I am thinking a Level 2, but do not really know your combination at all.

are those prices for a rebuild kit, or a complete transmission?
ALSO......i have called other tranny shops and they are saying that if the shop put in the wrong type of filter it could cause this problem. is this possible? and i dont understand how the car was shifting just fine with NO PROBLEMS and now it dont shift right, there is noway something could have broken, im never going to a shop again.
