Default trailblazer L6 stall vs colorado L5 stall

i know a lot of people, including myself, have used trailblazer converters in front of their 60Es, but the colorado L5's converter stalls even higher. i'm wondering if the engine side of the converter is the same as the v8 just like the TB's converter is. anybody experimented here?

The front cover and hub is not the same, so I'm not sure if it will work or not.
