i had my tranny rebuilt too! put a trans cooler and the shift kit ...i got mine from thunderracing its a 28000 gvw from them its a good size one. be sure to get the tranny cooler if you dont get the shift kit. just depends on how you drive it. both will help the life of your tranny. if you drive it and do the occasional WOT i'd get one to protect your clutches. it doesnt shift super hard but they're nice firm shifts. when your tranny shifts it kinda feels like it "pulls back some and then when it switches gears, goes foward"; the shift kit kinda makes it lunge forward. they're good investments. i'd do them both now that you have the tranny out

Will it shift hard, well it depends on how it's set up.
You don't take a shift kit out of the box and put it in, you have to take into consideration (well a lot of stuff) vehicle useage being one. Then you choose usually seperator plate hole sizes, accumulator springs, boost valve size, servo size, etc, etc, etc.

Hey performabuilt!! Since it was brought up, whats your opinion on torque management? Should it be deleted or what? I heard that it can also be reduced, I am no expert here.. Use me for an example, mods in sig. Thanx, this I believe is somewhat of a debate, and I remember a post on this before, but it really didnt go any where...

I've had stage 2 and 3 kits in my 4th gens and I love them.
The install is relatively simple if you've even been inside a tranny.
Much firmer, but not too rough for DDing.
