with a brake you can hold the rpms at a deterimined rpm under the flash of the converter and it will not move wth a foot brake the car will lunge forward and try to powerbrake at certian stall speeds with a brake this will eliminate that it also allows for more stored energy. It works by locking the trans in 1st and reverse at the same time it is impossible to turn 2 gears ay once and it is an equal force so it really doesnt do any damage to the trans as long as you keep the rpms below the flash point

so your still limited by the stall speed of the Torque Converter? Someone explained it to me as it damn near acts like a clutch, and you can run a more street friendly stall and run the transbrake when its time to play, seems im wrong

wel yes you can actually achieve the stall with a brake you will not be able to achieve the full stall with a foot brake becuase it will try to spin the tires...say for instance you have a 4000 stall foot braking you may be able to get 3500 or so before it tries to move the car with a trans brake you can get closer to 4000

Activate trans brake, rev it as high as you want to go, hope your drivetrain will handle the launch, deactivate trans brake

No, Transmission will opperate normaly 1 2 3 4. However, transbrake will only opperate in D4. Another + with transbrake is that u dont pre-load your suspension. when released it shocks your drive line on launch which helps u hook up and gets your 60 Fts down.

think of it as doing a 5k rpm side step with a manual transmission. with brake it would be similar. cant sit on the brake button for very long, builds up alot of heat.

Better than the Mopar t-brakes, which are inside the pan
